Korean bibimbap chain Bibigo opens its third L.A. location tomorrow with the debut of a Century City store on the second floor dining terrace at the Westfield Mall. Known for its hot stone bibimbap bowls of heart-healthy Korean ingredients, the new location will give all comers a free soda with purchase tomorrow to celebrate the thirteenth international location of the chain. In 2010, Bibigo predicted its coming dominance in the field of global Korean fast-casual, with hopes of becoming “the McDonald’s or Starbucks of Korean food.” Fortunately for the city, it’s much better than both.
