Where to Dine and Drink on Bastille Day — With a Map!

Forget that it’s been très chaud of late, and commit this weekend to some relaxed eating and drinking. Tomorrow is La Fête Nationale, better known as Bastille Day — join the city’s Francophiles in celebration all weekend with menu and cocktail specials at local French favorites. This is a weekend where the festive St. Germain and Bastille 1879 French Whisky will flow freely in cocktails. So pack up your bocce balls, tune up the musette, and storm these picks for some fine French fare. Bonne fête!

The Americano

When: Saturday, from 6 p.m.
What: A four-course prix fixe dinner paired with Billecart-Salmon Champagne to toast. The menu will include pressé de homard, bar de ligne, roasted chicken with chanterelle fricassee, and pistachio napoleon.
Price: $120 per person.

AOC Bistro
259 Fifth Ave. at Garfield Pl., Brooklyn; 718-788-1515
When: Saturday, from 10 a.m. to midnight
What: Choose from coq au vin with tagliatelle, steamed mussels with shaved fennel, or a “tour de france” flatbread with blue and goat cheeses, and pair with a glass of wine or special AOC Bastille cocktail.
Price: $17.89 for prix fixe

Artisanal

When: Saturday, tasting from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., dinner from 5 p.m.
What: A special prix fixe duo will be featured alongside their traditional menu. Choose from Bouchot mussels, olives and almonds, a cheese plate, or a rustic country paté, each paired with a special drink. The fromage favorite will also host a complimentary St. Germain and Bastille Whisky 1789 tasting on Saturday!
Price: $17.89 for prix fixe.

Bar Tabac

When: Sunday, beginning at 12 p.m.
What: An all-block street fair pétanque tournament, Lillet and St. Germain cocktails, French fare, and live music.

Barrio 47

When: Saturday, brunch from noon to 3:30 p.m., dinner from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
What: Owners, brothers, and Frenchmen Alex & Roman Volland are throwing a “Z” Revolution with $5 glasses of refreshing Rosé from Côte de Provence.
Price: $5 per glass.

db Bistro Moderne

When: Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
What: A native of Aix en Provence, Chef Laurent Kalkotour will serve up a bouillabaisse pot pie, among other specials. His famed Provençal fish stew is topped with an artful pastry dome and served with sauce rouille on the side.

DBGB Kitchen & Bar

When: Saturday, from 5:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
What: A saucisse baujolaise, made from one of DBGB’s housemade sausages, with lentils du puy. Top off with homemade Eiffel Tower cookies from Épicerie Boulud!

Brasserie Beaumarchais

When: Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; last seating at 3 p.m.
What: A Bastille brunch party featuring D.J. Marco Peruzzi and drinks sponsored by Ricard.

French Institute Alliance Francaise

When: Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
What: This toute l’affaire street fair will host prize drawings, cocktail and cheese tastings, live performances, French language workshops, and booths from the city’s favorite French specialty shops and restaurants.
Price: All-inclusive tasting tickets are $20 each. Booth prices vary; activities free.

The Lambs Club

What: A revolutionary brunch, featuring a French jazz band and French menu specials, like moules frites, a croque madame with black summer truffles, and braised chicken crepes with nutmeg and gruyere. Choose from dainty desserts, like pâte a choux with hazelnut cream and nougat ice cream or peach macaroon with lavender ice cream.

Millesime

What: The seafood brasserie will host special menu items for the occassion, including crab and onion soup gratinee, a “duet of duck,” and peach and raspberry crepes.

When: Sunday, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
What: Their “Sea to Sun-set” Sunday brunch party will honor Bastille Day with a trip to St. Tropez — through specialty cocktails and French D.J. Super Jaimie. Beginning at 3 p.m., D.J.’s will take the turntables while guests celebrate with Gorgée de Soleil cocktails and brunch favorites like brioche French toast with blackberry compote.
