One of the more buzzed-about alums of the Noma kitchen, Christian Puglisi, who was a former sous chef under Rene Redzepi before going on to open Relæ in Copenhagen, is coming to Bar Tartine on Monday, July 16, to cook a collaborative dinner with chef Nick Balla and baker-owner Chad Robertson. You may recall that Balla and Robertson took a research trip to Europe before Balla took over the kitchen at Bar Tartine, and that trip included a meal at Relæ. Now Puglisi comes to visit them, and the three along with Bar Tartine’s Courtney Burns will be doing a special à la carte menu of shared plates inspired by dishes at Relæ and Puglisi’s other restaurant, Manfreds Og Vin.
