Avery Provision Co. Unveils Boston’s First-Ever Sushi Burrito

This is big: As of now, you can get a sushi burrito in Downtown Crossing. The new Avery Provision Co. (which replaced Bina) sells these hybrid beauties for under $10. We’re told that Avery is testing out the San Francisco-bred treat with spicy tuna first but plans to, um, roll out other varieties in the coming months.

This hefty maki-frito is stuffed with tempura flakes, wasabi soy, cucumber, avocado, and sesame. Skeptical? Try one and you’ll get a coupon for a free follow-up burrito. What do you have to lose? It’s certainly more inventive than Chipotle, and it probably beats the sushi at Walgreen’s.
