Yesterday marked the debut of Ryan Scott’s second, slightly larger Market & Rye at 300 DeHaro. The takeout concept shifts to just breakfast and lunch at this location — as opposed to the lunch and dinner hours kept at the also newish West Portal spot — and they will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Also, Scott now has a full-time pastry chef on staff for the mini-chain, and it’s Curtis McDonald, formerly of 1300 on Fillmore. (See the basic menu offerings here.) In related news, Scott just inked a deal for his own cooking show on the Live Well Network, which also boasts a new show from Rick Bayless.
