• Roger’s Parlour Lounge and Restaurant — a revamped upscale eatery in the Roger Hotel — opens today. Chef Julie Farias (Goat Town) crafted a menu with an array of shared plates, like Murray’s grilled cheese, oyster po’boys, and soda-dipped fried chicken. The big names behind Roger’s include Steven Kamali, John Flannigan, Anna Busta, and Johnny Swet. [Grub Street]

• Today’s happy hour at Vitae includes $5 margaritas featuring Siete Leguas Tequila and signature Salt Air Margaritas. The house cocktail and wine menus will be available too. The special will run from 6 to 8 p.m. [Grub Street]

• June 18 marks the beginning of the third annual Malaysian Restaurant Week, which will run until June 24. Participating Malaysian restaurants in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey will offer special $20 three-course prix fixe menus. • Some of Brooklyn’s most buzzed about food and drink brands will gather for the inaugural Brooklyn Batched tomorrow, June 15, at 6 p.m. on the East River in Greenpoint. The event will feature fare from Brooklyn Brewery, Brooklyn Gin, Bareburger, Sweet Lorens, and Twelve Oaks Bakery, among other Brooklyn-based start-ups. • Jamie Mulholand of Goldbar and Surf Lodge recently bought Club Element. He intends to re-brand the valuable corner space as Five Nightclub — a three-floor, two bar-endeavor.
