Salmon at Obama Fundraiser Lunch Deemed ‘Very Good’

San Francisco mag writer Nina Martin snagged a seat, through friends, at the President’s lunch event at the Julia Morgan Ballroom yesterday afternoon. She gives a report, detailing all the long lines and waiting that go along with attending such an event, which was also attended by foie gras foe and former state senator John Burton. Also, she provides a quick review of a the food by Credo chef Gustavo Romero Veytia. “Despite Michael Bauer’s nasty review a couple of years back,” she writes, “the Coho salmon from Credo (the nearby restaurant owned by Democratic bigwig Clint Reilly) was very good.” [SF Mag]
