Today Tasting Table launches a feature called Back Bar, which features twenty bartenders from the nation’s finest mixology havens giving three recipes apiece — one for a classic drink, one for a twist on that drink, and one for a “gonzo” take on the same drink. Local boozehounds Duggan McDonnell (Cantina) and Martin Cate (Smuggler’s Cove) each offer up a trio of recipes. McDonnell covers the Pisco Punch, also giving us the Soccer Mom Pisco Punch, which is just a slightly simpler version of the drink. And Cate gives a couple of twists on the Tiki classic The Zombie, including a refined, straight-up version he dubbs The Undead Gentleman. [Tasting Table]
