Principal Dresses Up as Lady Gaga, Milks a Cow

Protein and calcium!
Protein and calcium!

Why didn’t our elementary school teachers do this when we completed our homework? Principal Justin Vernon of the aptly named Roger Clap Innovation School in Dorchester donned his finest Lady Gaga costume (wig and all) and got down on his knees to milk a dairy cow, all to honor his kids’ industrious study habits.

The principal (who, according to the Globe, claims he makes a “pretty good Lady Gaga”) somehow managed to milk dairy cow Moxie from Richardson’s Ice Cream in heels and a cocktail dress, though fortunately he did not opt to don an interpretation of Gaga’s infamous meat frock.

It was all because his students had read more than 10,000 books by the end of the term. And to think, we only got a pizza party back in the day.
