We’d probably eat at Trade even if it weren’t for charity, but this makes us feel a bit less indulgent: Cycling fiend Jody Adams and her partners Eric Papachristos and Sean Griffing have pledged to raise $100,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in August’s Pan-Mass bicycle challenge, and they’re throwing a party to generate funds. Help them reach their goal on Father’s Day by going to their cocktail party and, if you’re feeling spry, joining them on an invigorating morning bike ride.
Adams and pals set off on a 40-mile (!) jaunt prior to brunch at 10 a.m., leaving from the restaurant. The Father’s Day brunch party kicks off at 1 p.m. with Bloody Marys, mimosas, Harpoon beer, Island Creek Oysters … and lots of sweaty cyclists! Tickets to the brunch event are $50; for more information about the party (and to donate), go right here.
