The BBQ barometer’s readings this morning indicate there’s two more opportunities to get your summertime cookout fix this week. JG Domestic is teaming up with Brooklyn’s Sixpoint Brewery for a special beer-becue on Wednesday (June 27). Iron Chef Jose Garces’ all American restaurant’s $55 per person dinner will present guests with spare ribs, pulled pork, brisket and a ton of other dishes and sides, all paired with Sweet Action, The Crisp, Righteous Rye and more Sixpoint brews. Seatings start at 6:30 p.m., and reservations are required. Check out the menu here. Over at Matyson, Chef Ben Puchowitz is devoting his tasting menu this week to barbecue.

Matyson’s tasting menu this week draws inspiration from barbecue. That dinner, which costs $45 per person, will feature dishes like watermelon with octopus, green olives, haloumi, and caramelized yogurt, and crispy pig tails with corn, jicama, blueberry, and smoked paprika. It will be available starting tonight and runs through Thursday. Check the full menu below.
