Humphry Slocombe ice cream man Jake Godby has been doing a savory (and sweet) pop-up called Truck Stop Café on occasional Wednesdays at Truck (15th and Folsom), a gay bar in the Mission, and it’s pretty fun! He returns tonight with a menu of whimsical stuff like black sesame profiteroles with ricotta and peas; a lentil soup topped with, yep, foie gras; a “red hot” banana cupcake; and our favorite duck-fat Chex mix.
