The Chinese-noodle specialist was in hot water more than six months ago, and it appears even the efforts of a new chef couldn’t save the place (which reportedly stopped pulling its own noodles around the time it filed for Chapter 11) — FloFab has it that Hung Ry is no more. Hard to say whether internal issues led to the closure, or if the dining public simply still isn’t ready to pay as much as $20 for Chinese noodle soup. [NYT, Earlier]
