Jose Garces’ Mexican mobile operation, Guapos Tacos, may have left the Love Park food truck convoy back in May, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it has been moth-balled and garaged. It has primarily kept busy doling out taco fixes for the neighbors of Iron Chef’s Luna Farms at the Ottsville Farmers Market since departing the Center City lunchtime corral. But today it’s rolling back up on Philly, making an appearance at the Porch Farmers Market near 30th Street Station. There the Guaps crew will be slinging tacos from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We recommend getting there early in order to beat the crowds that will surely turn out and to greet the truck for its first trek back to its home turf. We also hope that this homecoming will be the first of many more visits to come.
