
Three of L.A.’s newest restaurants are throwing their hats into the breakfast and brunch game. Hermosa Beach’s Abigaile launches a Sunday brunch this weekend, offering bloody Mary’s with bacon-infused vodka, a morning plate of beef bimbimbap, croque madame, house-brewed beer, and a Bilbao chorizo frittata, among other dishes from chef Tin Vuong. In Downtown, two-week-old Industriel is already serving a lunch and dinner selection priced under $19, and will also introduce a new breakfast service this coming Monday with all offerings priced under $14. Dishes include a plate of duck sausage and duck fat biscuits with eggs and “faux” gras gravy called “duck, duck, goose,” along with clafoutis bearing market fruits, and “crepe monsieur” with truffle ham and gruyere (the full menu is below).
Over in West Hollywood, Faux Pas, which was not only designed by Spacecraft’s Kristofer Keith, but is also operated and owned by this Thor-like designer, just began brunch service last weekend, offering a bottomless mimosa bar seven days a week, along with Euro-inspired morning dishes like breakfast pizza and a monte cristo.
