Just shy of its second anniversary, Timber Wood Fired Grill has called it quits. The casual American restaurant with an extensive beer program was an ambitious effort for suburban Abington. But maybe perhaps a little too ambitious. According to the Insider, Timber didn’t go over to well with locals, who felt the menu prices was a little too steep. That and the fact that it lost its GM to Paramour in Wayne, meant certain doom. [Insider]
