And speaking of SF Chefs dinners and the upcoming Stars Realigned event on June 19, here’s some great vintage video that Jeremiah Tower spotted on YouTube from a British TV program in 1989 in which the BBC’s Keith Floyd travels to S.F. to check out the scene, and drops in on the kitchen at Stars for a lesson in cooking Monterey spot prawns.
We’ve skipped ahead to the Stars section of the video, which begins with a quick shot out the window of a car going down the Embarcadero Freeway, looking up Market Street, and finishes with Tower showing how he does a simple dish of whole prawns with two sauces, artichoke, and fresh fava beans.
