We’ve heard rumors on Abbot-Kinney that Venice’s popular pop-up, Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing, is facing challenges to stay put in its home at Capri restaurant, with fingers pointing to a take-over by David Reiss, owner of The Brig, A-Frame, Alibi Room, and Sunny Spot. It certainly makes sense. If we had the dough, snapping up space on the trendy street would seem a no-brainer, whether it becomes a more stable home for Brian Dunsmoor and Kris Tominaga, or something else entirely. Today, the rumor appears to be confirmed by a change of ownership application notice on Capri’s door, with the corresponding address leading right to 822 Washington Boulevard, the same address as Reiss’ Sunny Spot.
