This summer, the Bill Chait and Rob Serritella-driven MessHall will take over Louise’s in Los Feliz. Here chef Keith Silverton, who counts past stints at Water Grill, Chez Panisse, Dominick’s, and Nonna of Italy on his resume, will mash traditional technique and recipes with countryside comfort (like a brandade of gold spuds with soft egg and a Red Baron trout schnitzel), alongside drinks designed by Julian Cox and Josh Goldman. Next Friday, April 27, the restaurant will pop-up at Short Order under the guidance of Chait’s Test Kitchen concept. Wanna see the menu?
From 7:00 P.M. to midnight, Silverton will offer the public a first chance to eat what he’s been working on, as he tests out a menu of seven dishes prepared with help from Ori Menashe and Seth Greenberg, with a new burger thrown in by Short Order’s Christian Page.
Reservations are available via email and walk-ins are accepted at the bar. See the full menu of food and drinks below, priced at $49 per person, available at Short Order next Friday.
