First Look at Hakkasan, Bringing Haute Chinois to Midtown Today
Decade-old London-based Hakkasan is the Michelin-starred toast of that city’s Chinese scene (it’s also in Miami, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Mumbai) and a favorite with celebs, not to mention Frank Bruni. Now the upmarket Cantonese concept hits New York, bowing in Hell’s Kitchen today, with a sprawling, luxurious interior and a menu of pricey feast-worthy fare. Baller ingredients abound, as in the noodles with scallops, lobster, and black truffles, or the roasted silver cod with Champagne and Chinese honey.
