Earlier this week we told you that Jose Garces’ Distrito-meets-Guapos-Tacos Mexican mashup was at the ready with tacos and margs to greet the first Revel-ers that turned out to help crack the seal on the new mega-casino. Now we have word that Lugo Caffe, a spinoff of LDV Hospitality’s Manhattan restaurant of the same name, is also up and running. A rep for Lugo chef Stefano Chiaruga told Grub that the restaurant is now seating guests for dinner.

Lugo’s pitch promises “la dolce vita” to all who enter, a vibe reminiscent of Fellini films, plus Neopolitan pizzas, Prosecco and hand-pulled mozzerella at its walk-up cafe. Chiaruga serves a menu of steaks, chops, housemade pastas and “Italian classics” in the dining room.

Right now it’s serving dinner only. Lunch service kicks off on April 11.
