Grub Street hears that UpStairs on the Square’s new Food Bar, helmed by chef Susan Regis, is almost good to go. Regis will cook things like panini, pizzetta, and selections from a gluten-free pizza menu center stage. You can watch her!
The Food Bar is part of the restaurant’s Monday Club Bar and cafe. It opens at 3 p.m., seven days a week. Expect savories like tasso ham and fried oyster tartine, lobster pizzette, and angry tater tots. Oh, and fear not: You can still get all the Monday Club menu items and wine that you’ve grown to love, too.
Per a release, the place has also been repainted, which means it’s even brighter than usual around there these days. Take note, Harvard students looking to dump someone.
