The Chain Gang

Potbelly’s the Latest Chain With Burlington Plans

The Wreck.
The Wreck.

A few months back, we got a bit excited over the news that Potbelly had plans to open their first Boston location. Sadly, that location is Logan Airport, which is pretty inconvenient unless you’re actually, well, flying someplace. Luckily, this morning we get wind of the news that Potbelly also plans to open in Burlington, which is poised to become a dining mecca.

BRT notes that Potbelly would open in Wayside Commons, which is currently home to an LL Bean, Ann Taylor Loft, and a bunch of kids’ clothing shops. It would replace Fresh City. Also slated to open at the plaza is Bonefish Grill (seafood, naturally) and wine bar Seasons 52.

We should also remind you that Five Guys will open down the block, next to the Burlington Market Basket, any day now.
