In case you haven’t already heard, Nom Nom Ramen, the new noodle house in Center City that’s replacing short-lived b.b.go opened its doors last night for limited service. Fooboozers were on hand to get some of the first tastes. Tonight again it will do a soft opening, offering up its Hakata-style noodles for the first fifty or so that show up. Though there’s no official word, we suspect an official opening is just days away. Also tonight, Square Peg, the all-American diner-y concept from Cuba Libre honchos Barry Gutin and Larry Cohen and Matt Levin kicks off its “preview period,” serving a limited number of guests. Its soft mode will run through April 4. An official opening is expected on April 5.

And, as if all that isn’t enough soft openings for you, Rimedio, a new BYOB that’s going to replace Rx in West Philly, will do its own soft opening on Friday, March 23.
