Celebrity chef Nancy Silverton, lately most famous for Mozza in Los Angeles along with chef Matt Molina, will be coming to the Bay Area in March to cook a series of event dinners in celebration of The Mozza Cookbook. She and Molina will be doing Mozza tasting menus at Ame and Terra on March 27, 28, and 29. Interestingly, Silverton is old friends with Ame/Terra owners Lissa Doumani and Hiro Sone, having worked with both of them back in the early 80’s at Spago.
Attendees at all three dinners will go home with inscribed copies of the cookbook, and further details are below.
Ame, March 27: a 5-course dinner will be offered at $120 per person, with the option of wine pairings for an additional $55. For reservations, call 415-284-4040.
Terra (St. Helena), March 28 & 29: a 4-course dinner will be offered at $96 per person, with the option of wine pairings for an additional $50. For reservations, call 707-963-8931.
Reservations are required, and not available on line, so call the restaurants directly. When booking your reservations, you will be asked to prepay the amount of the dinner. There is a 7-day advance cancellation notice for a refund.
