A grand Mussel Battle is going down tomorrow evening at Grand Café pitting four chefs against each other in a melée of mollusk cookery. The competitors: Grand Café’s own Alicia Jenish, Park Tavern’s Jennifer Puccio, Magnolia’s Ronnie New, and Adam Thompson of Nettie’s Crab Shack. Fifteen dollars gets you in the door and gets you tastes from all the chefs, as well as supplementary passed bites and a glass of wine, beer, or champagne. The fun goes from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and proceeds will benefit GLIDE, and you can still get advance tickets here. [Grub Street]
