Believe us, nothing around here arouses an eye-roll better than putting together the words “restaurant” and “week.” But before you scoff at the Chestnut Hill Business Association for making March its restaurant month, remember that there’s been an explosion of new places to eat and drink there in last year. The recent influx of places like Chip Roman’s well-received Mica, Robert Bynum’s and Al Paris’s back-to-the-farm Heirloom and Iron Hill’s first location within city limits has completely reshaped the neighborhood’s dining landscape. So it’s no wonder they want to show off a little.

Along with the aforementioned newcomers, the Chestnut Hill Business Association’s month-long “Eat Up the Avenue” also counts everything from Chestnut 7 and Kings Garden to the Tavern on the Hill as participants. As is expected with restaurant week-like promotions, restaurants involved will offer guests either $19.95 or $29.99 three-course dinners Sundays through Thursdays throughout all of March. Many of the participating restaurants will also have deals on breakfast and lunch. Check out ChestnutHillPA.com for specifics.
