With the way things are shaping up at Atlantic City’s Revel, it’s poised to be a culinary juggernaut of epic proportions when it opens this spring. So far, we’ve learned that Jose Garces will account for three of the sprawling gaming complex’s 14 restaurants. Another is spoken for by fellow Iron Chef Mark Forgione. And Robert Wiedmaier has plans to bring his D.C. Mussel Bar there too. This week comes word that New York’s Lugo Caffe will also be on board. Headed by chef Stefano Chiaruga, Lugo will specialize in Italian classics with housemade pastas, Neapolitan-style brick oven pizza, housemade fresh mozzarella, and meatballs, of course.
