Another chef-driven restaurant is now soft-open in Highland Park, as Patch announces the grand-opening of Highland Park Kitchen next Wednesday under Huntley See, a California School of Culinary Arts-grad who has worked both front and back of the house around town since 2007. The project will take over the York Boulevard space occupied briefly by Cafe Lobos and before that, Marty’s Cafe, and will find this former Tart GM and Micky’s manager preparing tapas including braised short ribs, pomegranate ceviche, carne asada fries, and sliders
in the $10-$30 range for owner Rudy Martinez , along with a full bar pouring cocktails, wine, draft beers, and “tall-boys in brown bags.” Open Tuesday through Sunday, starting at 11:00 A.M. daily.
Highland Park Kitchen, 5137 York Blvd. Highland Park. 323-256-2400.
