Green Flash’s Palate Wrecker

With Pliny the Younger season swept behind us, we can now focus on Green Flash Brewing Company’s 9.5% ABV, 100+ IBUS “Palate Wrecker.” For the first time since the introduction of this uber-hoppy San Diego spring brew, which uses six pounds of hops per barrel, the beer will go from a limited-release found only in the brewery and at a few local brew bars, to a national release on draft and in 22-oz. bottles and four packs of 12-oz. bottles. Starting in mid-March, look for the Palate Wrecker wherever you’ve seen Green Flash appear in the past.
