Grimaldi’s, DiFara, Keste … with all the pizza philosophizing, many have forgotten about Gloria Pizza, the Flushing pizza legend that closed twenty years ago, which New Yorkers went absolutely nuts for. And now, it’s back. Thomas Zaremba, whose father-in-law opened the original Gloria, is reopening the shop next month in a new location next to the Midway Theater in Forest Hills. Whether it will be as sublime as the slices of the sixties is still TBD, but Zaremba is just happy to be back on the map. [NYDN]
