It seems as if there may be a happy ending on the way for the long vacant La Terrasse on University of Pennsylvania’s campus. Last we checked, the restaurant, which opened in 1966, was closed and word was that after some reconfiguring, it was going to reopen. Now almost a year later, we learn that those changes go a lot deeper than simply throwing a fresh coat of paint on the walls and moving the furnishings around. Turns out the space is going to become home to a satellite location of the growing Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House empire, according to Daily Pennsylvanian. Doc’s founder Dave Magrogan, who is also behind the Harvest Grill offshoot that’s going into the space left vacant by Marathon’s MarBar, signed leases for both properties and expects to have them up and running this spring or early summer.
