At today’s Planning Commission meeting, a pair of prospective restaurant owners have projects on the agenda. The first, a restaurant called The Living Room from owner Javier Solorzano, would occupy a 3,000-square foot space tucked behind the Quickly at 1735 Polk Street (near Washington). The second project, which we mentioned once before and is still unnamed, is a small, Euro-centric wine bar at 2255 Polk Street (at Green) from Ceri Smith, the owner of the nearby Biondivino wine shop. It’s the former Eco Citizen shop, and is just 300 square feet, but Smith plans to add sidewalk seating. This opening will, of course, be pending a liquor license — so not for a few months.
