
Maybe we haven’t heard the last of the LCB and the push to privatize its liquor stores after all. Last we heard, lawmakers cut a deal that would spare the system and allow for booze sales in other venues. But that was all before, Mike Turzai, the State House Majority leader who’s privatization plan was declawed and neutered when lawmakers adopted it last December, announced he’s decided against a run for Congress. Apparently he would rather stay in Pennsylvania to continue waging war against the state’s liquor board. [CBS Philly]
