Troya, the successful Clement Street Mediterranean spot, has claimed the former Citizen Cake/Vivande Porta Via space at 2125 Fillmore, for their second location, which will be called Troya Fillmore. The space was vacated last month by celebrity chef Elizabeth Falkner who’s taking a bit of a break from the restaurant/patisserie biz for a while as she works on a book. As the Scoop reports, the Troya folks are looking to make the new location “hipper” than their Richmond location, and the menu will continue to be pan-Mediterranean with a Turkish foundation. Troya Fillmore should open around about April, after a remodel. [Scoop]
