Anyone catch the Saints-49ers game on Saturday? Great game … unless you were rooting for the Saints. Or, according to CBS News, if you were one of two 49ers fans who had been watching the game at a Decatur, Georgia, Applebee’s. After the game, Donald Ray Ayro, a Saints fan, allegedly left the restaurant, telling two San Francisco fans he “would be back for them.” Instead, he waited for the two in the parking lot and reportedly opened fire. One 49ers fan was “shot in the stomach and transported to the hospital in critical condition,” while the other suffered a minor wound. Applebee’s released the following statement: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families of this senseless tragedy.” Ayro fled the scene, but police caught up with him and charged him with two counts of aggravated assault. We’re guessing he probably won’t be able to catch the championship round this Sunday. [CBS News]
