Native Foods Landing on Santa Monica’s Ocean Park

Last week, LAist got Westside vegans amped for the arrival of chef Tanya Petrovna’s omni-organic Native Foods, with news that its thirteenth branch would be coming to Santa Monica. We stumbled upon the exact location yesterday, which appears to be taking over the former Pizza Fusion space on Ocean Park Blvd.

Though this shortcut of a street typically empties out with the sun’s slide, it becomes the big show for lunchers due to the soulless corporate park that stands against the northern flank’s tight squeeze of mom and pop restaurants and assorted indie businesses. Expect it to be packed, and maybe even assist a meat-eater or two in forgoing their Counter burgers for this vegan reuben that looks indistinguishable from the carnivorous version.

Native Foods, coming to 2901 Ocean Park Blvd. Ste. 123 Santa Monica.
