If Rodelio Aglibot’s Moving To Aja Space, Then Aja’s Over and Out, No?

Okay, this is complicated: 312DiningDiva reports that Rodelio Aglibot, opening chef of Sunda who departed in 2010 to become one of the executives of the BLT Restaurant Group (which has had its own complicated life history of late), opening The Florentine here, and TV personality with his TLC show The Food Buddha, will be coming back to Chicago to open a new restaurant in The Dana Hotel, in the Aja space. The only thing is… Aja is still in the Aja space. So apparently this is actually two stories in one— Aja, which never quite established a clear identity (partly because it muddled its identity by becoming Ajasteak at one point) is history, and Rodelio Aglibot and his concept are coming soon. Which in turn apparently bumps yet another candidate out of the Aja space— Dion Antic’s rumored Harry’s Velvet Room, a revival of an old River North nightspot, which was reported to be a possibility for the spot.
