As rumored, Noel Ashman’s Elsinore nightclub will indeed replace Stanton Public at 17 Stanton when it opens for private parties at the end of the month. A rep tells us nightlife honcho Steve Lewis designed the space, which has a tented, heated outdoor garden. In keeping with the downtown-hip vibe the team wants to foster, servers will wear uniforms designed by Richie Rich. But don’t count on seeing those firsthand: Ashman’s already said this will be “one of the toughest doors in town,” so you’re probably not getting in.
