Squid Ink spreads the news that Eagle Rock Brewery has been temporarily prohibited from holding its 2nd Anniversary Party on the premises of its actual brewery, having violated a few codes and regulations at past on-site jams, according to some state regulator barneys (those dudes clearly don’t know how to party). This Saturday’s commemorative celebration will be held at Verdugo Bar instead, where Eagle Rock will debut a new, limited release of a “bigger” version of its dark, low-alcohol Solidarity ale, called Deuce, also available all day at the brewery itself. Twelve bucks buys four drink tickets for the brewery’s beers and includes an Eagle Rock Brewery glass to mark the occasion, which could run out, even though the beer will probably keep flowing either way.
