BR Guest sends word that Steve Hanson’s deal to buy the Strip House’s NYC and Las Vegas locations (as well as the brand) officially closed today, and with it comes the news that Hanson will not only retain the entire New York staff currently in place, he’ll also bring back chef John Schenk, who oversaw Strip House’s food from 2004 until he left last spring to work for the BLT restaurant empire. Hanson announced the news while hinting at Strip House’s inevitable expansion: “I look forward to the continued growth of the Strip House brand with John Schenk at the helm.”
