Just as we predicted a few weeks ago, the Times says Sirio Maccioni will indeed take over the space currently occupied by the soon-to-move Le Caprice in the Pierre hotel. In its place, he’ll open a New York branch of Sirio restaurant. FloFab says Sirio is expected to open in late spring, and the chef will be Filippo Gozzoli, who previously worked in Milan. Also: The Adam Tihany–designed room will have a “Fellini-esque” feel and there will be pizza on the menu. [NYT]
