
Who needs Michelin stars when you can get a ringing endorsement from the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, who expresses her undying love of the West Village’s wonderful Gradisca on Diner’s Journal today: “And this is not a flight of fancy for Gradisca, or some kind of trend — it is how they cook their food.” SJP especially loves their carbonara: “It’s like the perfect balance of all the indulgences. The bacon. The cheese. The olive oil. The salt. The pepper. The amount of time they cook those noodles.” But then again, carbonara is kind of like her crack. And she’s looking for more dealers.
