Stephen Starr’s just opened Route 6 is one of the latest restaurants to jump aboard the Feast of the Seven Fishes bandwagon this holiday season. Chef Anthony DiRienzo is serving his own take on the time-honored Italian dinner on Christmas Eve. Multiple seatings from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. are available. DiRienzo’s menu will include Cape Codder oyster with cranberry granite, vodka; seafood stew with calamari, scallop, mussels, potato and crispy bread; wood oven roasted Atlantic salmon with honey crisp apple relish; and more for $50 per person. Across town, David Katz is going a completely different route at Meme.
He’s cooking a Christmas goose! The traditional holiday dish will served alongside glazed ham, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, buttermilk biscuits and sage gravy, plus complimentary egg nog. The $35 dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m to 8 p.m.
