Ramen Jinya Expands to Miracle Mile, Opens Shop Today

Good news for noodle lovers and/or Miracle Mile workers and denizens aching for better lunch and dinner options–the second ramen location in the ever-expanding Jinya empire debuts in a Wilshire Boulevard strip mall today. The Facebook page promises the same ramen you find at the one in Studio City and at Robata Jinya on West Third Street–both favorites of Jonathan Gold–but with the addition of “exciting new dishes!”

This may or may not include “salad ramen,” which looks to be just greens and vegetables and no actual ramen, but that doesn’t matter. We’ll still go for a bowl of extra porky tonkotsu and a plate of gyoza. Another location was supposed to open on Sawtelle earlier this month, but it’s apparently still delayed.

The restaurant didn’t open for lunch today as planned, but will open at 5 P.M. Starting tomorrow, regular hours will be 11 A.M. to 11 Pl.M.
