New Year's Eve

The $3,000 Next Dinner Reservation Does Exist

All yours, for a price.
All yours, for a price.

Remember back in April when Next first opened and tickets for the six-seat kitchen table were going for $3,000 on Cragislist? As it turns out, the table is now going for exactly $3,000 for a 7:30 p.m. seating on New Year’s Eve.

All yours, for a price.

After nixing the whole NYE buyout idea, the folks at Next added the kitchen table as part of their newly crafted NYE package deal that is going for $175 per person (plus tax, service and wine pairings) for an early seating, and $265 per person for a late seating that includes a midnight Champagne toast and other extras.

Sure, everyone else will think your table is filled with the world’s biggest douchebags, but you won’t even notice! Not only will you be dining privately — away from the general-admission hoi polli — but you’ll also be doing it for twice as long, since there is only one seating! If you’ve got $3,000 and the chutzpah to spend it on a glitzy New Year’s eve dinner, shoot an e-mail to NYE@nextrestaurant.com.
