Burrows at the now shuttered store
Last we checked in on Mr. Cecil’s owner and Fletch producer Jonathan Burrows, he was talking about a major expansion for the brand, with the possibility of bringing les ribs a la California to France. Now Eater reports that the original Mr. Cecil’s location on Pico called it quits last weekend, closing up its saucey grilling shop, though it’s still survived by Valley and Manhattan Beach locations. Asanebo owner Shunji Nakao will try to succeed in the circular space with a new restaurant, following the quick shutter speed of his Shunji’s last summer. [Eater]
