What to Eat at Mamajuana Cafe, Opening Friday on the Upper West Side
Chef Ricardo Cardona’s Mamajuana has been a hit in Inwood for years, but those who don’t frequent the upper reaches of the island will be able to sample the Latin fare on the UWS when a new location opens Friday. Dominican dishes range from bacalao-stuffed plantains to a Latin steak-frites with chimichurri. Cocktails are strong and the lights are kept low, so consider bringing your lover, Latin or otherwise. See it all in our slideshow.
