There seems to be all kinds of upheaval rattling the pizza world in recent days. On Friday, Grub mentioned that long-established Trenton tomato pie-maker DeLorenzo’s was closing up shop, and now there’s word that the equally iconic Ocean City boardwalk mainstay Mack & Manco and its Jersey Shore satellites are about to undergo drastic and very dramatic changes of their own. According to the Inquirer, come the first of the year, the pizza will rechristen themselves Manco & Manco. Though the small group of pizza joints that established its boardwalk flagship back in 1956 is losing it’s Mack, little else is expected to change. [Inquirer]
