We thought Luc Carl was an authority on boozing, but it seems the Lady Gaga love interest has forgotten one basic thing: If you’re going to serve the hooch, you need the SLA’s approval. The Lo-Down was present at last night’s CB3 meeting, “where members of the liquor licensing committee read [Carl] the riot act.” It seems his recently opened Ludlow Manor has been scooting by for over a month now with special-events permits rather than a regular liquor license. And this hasn’t endeared the place any to the folks in a position to grant a license. Yikes: sounds like trouble in palm-tree-lined paradise. [Lo-Down]
